Tek Dive Courses

For the most experienced divers or for those who want to go “deeper” in their knowledge of scuba diving, your Nerus Dive Center proposes you some different tek dive trainings. These trainings are either teached by Sofiane Belkessa, manager of your Nerus diving Center, either in partnership with Hippoconsulting, french technical and recreational dive center, owned by Mr Jean Francois Andre, TDI Instructor Trainor, PADI Tech Rec Instructor Trainor, but also CMAS M3 and PADI IDC staff Instructor… 

So, this way, you will have the possibility to have complete trainings, from basic Nitrox to Complete Close Rebrather courses. 

With this partnership with hippoconsulting, and beeing part of the Hippo Safe Dive Center, Nerus Diving center, gives you the opportunity to dive with your own rebreather or continue your tecnical diving education, and will provide you all equipment and gases needed to dive in São Miguel with the maximum of comfort and safety you can expect…

Deco Procedure

 

This course, mainly use in technical diving organisations like TDI is here to prepare yourself to new decompression practices, a little bit like na extanded range course for TRIMIX for exemple.

During 4 days, you will learn to plan your dives properly,calculate your gaz consumtion, manage your dive with “run time”, timer depth gauge, or multi gaz mix computer

1 complete day of theory and equipment set up, followed by 6 decompression dives. Reminder: like in all Nerus courses, everything is included:bail out and regulator,descompression ligne,decompression gases…no surprise…

This Course can be combined with an extended range course

Duration: 4 days

Certification: TDI, SSI and/or CMAS

Maximum students per course: 2 

Nitrox

 

The Ea Nitrox is a mix between nitrogen and oxygen, it allowes you to dive with more safety, reduces your decompression stops, a longer time at the bottom… since last year, Nerus diving center gives you the opportunity to be trained since your first level to this “gaz mix”…

Nitrox diver first level:

Theorical course around  4 hours on the BASIS of NItrox, followed by a final quizz, knowledge review (theory AND  practice), and finally the final exam and a nitrox dive.

By performing this course, you will receive a NItrox diver “basis” card, wich allows you to dive with NITROX from 22% to 40% of oxygen, and so, all around the world…

Pré-requirements:  the NITROX diver student has to be certified from any organisation to the firt level of certification…

Duration: 1 complete day

Possibility to be certified PADI,TDI,CMAS,EDA

Advanced NITROX Diver Course

 

Theorical course around  4 hours on the ADVANCED NITROX course, followed by a final quizz, knowledge review (theory AND  practice), and finally the final exam and 5 nitrox dive.

Those 5 NITROX dives are made in open water with a bail out (GAZ and BAIL OUT ARE INCLUDED) .

The ADVANCED NITROX diver certification give you the opportunity to dive with NITROX untill 100% (pure O2)

Possibility to be certified TDI, CMAS and EDA.

Duration: 3 days ½

Pré-requirement: be a certified NITROX “basis” diver

The Advanced NITROX diver course can be done at the same time as the basis nitrox diver course.

 

Extended Range Course

 

this training looks really like a normoxic trimix course, the only difference is that we don’ t use heluim, but, we use, at least, 2 decompression tanks, in a way to have a “run time “ and a decompression more efficient…

starting from our maximum depth, you will learn to plan and evaluate a deep dive, using your 2 decompression tanks, generally 40/60 and 80/20.the dive plan will be done with multi-gaz computeur, V-planner, depth gauge and timer.

Une complete day for theory and equipment set up, followed by 6 decompression dives. Like always,in Nerus diving center, everything is included (tanks, gazes, regulators, decompression line…) no surprise about prices…

4 days training with a maximum of 2 students

Certification TDI or SSI

Note: this course can be also added to the decompression dive training.
